 Our public school counselor requested that we medicate my child because he was active, inattentive, and he would not listen no matter what she did. I checked into my options and found the Austin CEO Foundation which allowed me to choose my child's school. By the end of the first year, my son was working above grade level, and his social skills improved as well. And we ended up not needing to medicate him!
